This morning was my last day from MediTech Class. And what I thought to be just another day turned out to be a special one. I was left on the room with the trainer because she wants to show me the changes on the MediTech Layout being used at the Lab. So while we were talking, I mentioned to her I am coming aboard on a temp status. That I am covering for someone on leave until probably March of next year. And she said: “Oh honey, tell me if they don’t offer you the job and I will make sure you get one!” So I kinda look at her to see if she was kidding and I guess she read my mind. So she was like: “I am serious. I can see you have the potential.” And that alone made my day!

Work is where I usually show my capabilities. School… I am pretty much done with it. I went through good grades in Elementary and High School, and though I didn’t get any honors in College I know I’ve proven my self. When I started working, I always make the best of everyday. My first manager (Jennifer Boatman) at VQ offered me a higher position after few weeks of training. Then Kirsten gave me the same opportunity to grow when I worked under her. So as Katherine when I decided to apply as an Account manager for her team. Cannot thank them enough for the learning experience!

Now that I am on another company… a Mission (that’s what they want to be called as they don’t only focus in healthcare but also to the other aspects of community), I hope I will do good. And to hear someone say something great about what they think I can do (without personally knowing me) just humbles me in so many ways…
