I am not sure if this is what is called a Fountain Grass or a Native Australian Grass. I researched on what the difference between the two ornamental grass species and they seemed pretty much alike in so many aspects that it was hard to make a determination. Regardless of the name, this grass is one of California’s favorite landscaping plant, and it is NOT meant to be mowed!
